The Youth Culture Centre is organized in 1972 (until 1991 carries the name Youth Cultural Home “25th of May”) and he has been invented as Cultural Centre assignment to young people, like a place for their support and promotion. So that, from the scenes of Youth Culture Centre follows a lot of significant names and manifestations which one are today`s leaders that represents a cultural values not even in our country, but outside as well.
Through the examples from the past, through the policy of frankness and offer to it`s own professional, technical and expanse capacities, the mission of Youth Cultural Centre is its anew comeback like a general organ to a cultural activities of young people in our town, and with that, a comeback again to a public in the area of this centre.
With support of the programs that are created from young people, always fresh and different, also professional supported from their own personal potentials, the Youth Culture Centre will aim to ATTRACT THE AUDIENCE like a primary target of strategy for realizating a mission of the centre. The Youth Culture Centre represent  specific institution of this kind, and include into itsself almost all spheres of culture and art.
Program-organization structure of the centre is divided to many sectors:
- sector of art programme
- sector of film programme
- sector of literature programme
- sector of art-gallery programme
- sector of literature programme
- Children creative centre
- Planetarium (astronomical programme)
These, and all the other left multimedia programme contents (common programme assignment of two and many sectors) allows base for realization a huge number of programs:
- promotion of young musical groups;
- organizing concerts to actual household and foreign performers;
- motivating and presenting of the arts and authors of multimedia projects;
- publishing and promoting the arts of young writers;
- presenting the projects and authors outside the borders of our country;
- organizing educative courses and seminars, realizing scientific-research activities,
also promoting and supporting of all left project which mean a lot for the culture of young people in our town.
